SRINAGAR : Srinagar is located in the heart of the Kashmir Valley, and is spread on both sides of the Jhelum river. SONMARG : It literally stands for “Meadows Of Gold”. The blooming valley has been chiseled over the ages by the mighty Indus river. In a sharp and joyous contrast to the green meadow land Sonmarg has a string of shimmering waterfalls and the Thaijwas Glacier.
JAMMU : Peer Khoh, Peer Baba, Ranbireshwar Temple, Ragunath Temple, Ganga Ghat, etc. are worth visiting.
KATRA : This small town serves as the base camp for visiting the famous shrine of Vaishnodeviji in the Trikuta hills. The shrine is approchable on foot along a 12km long well laid foot path.
PATNITOP : It is enveloped by thickly wooded forests and is perched on a lovely plateau offering unusual lush green picnic spots. |
