DALHOUSIE : Dalhousie established in 1854 by the British Governor General Lord Dalhousie. Built around five hills, Dalhousie is clothed in stately groves of deodar and oak. It’s marvelous forest trails overlook vistas of wooded hills, water falls, springs & rivulets. Subhash Baoli, Satdhara, Panjpulla, Bakrota Hills, Bara Pathar, etc. are worth visiting.
KHAJJIAR : Khajjiar is just a pleasant one day walk from Dalhousie (22 km.). A Picturesque spot with an emerald, saucer shaped meadow set amidst a dense deodar forest, it has a lake at its center with a floating island, a little temple with a golden spire and a golf course.
CHAMBA : Chamba Valley perhaps the loveliest of Himachal’s valleys is noted for the magnificence of its scenery - sparking streams, lakes, meadows and lush forests of deodar. A place of high mountain ranges. A splendid artistic heritage includes fine temple architecture, beautiful miniature paintings and exquisite embroidered Chamba rumals.
MANALI : Manali is the prime tourist destination of Himachal and reveals the valley at its best. Manali is synonymous with streams and bird song, forests orchards and the grandeur of snow capped mountains.
